The Duna Group is the uncontested worldwide market leader for the production and development of polyisocyanurate foam (PIR) and is also active in producing polyurethane systems for pouring and spraying as well as polyurethane (PU) adhesives and epoxy resins. The Group's mission is also to promote polyurethanes in various applications like packaging (foam in place), the marble industry and cryogenic insulation. When founded in 2001, Duna USA Inc. was new only to the American domestic market. Our products have already been approved and used by America..s leading engineering companies on their international projects. The manufacturing facility in the USA has greatly enhanced our presence into the North American market. We have also established a stable presence in various classification institutions, including the ASTM C 16 committee responsible for the development of the thermal insulation standards. Already as registered US Company, Duna USA Inc. has consolidated all its activity at the production facility in Baytown Texas. Being oriented to serve the different markets of low and high density, the actual production of our foam range is between 1.8 lbs/cubic foot to 31 lbs/cubic foot. Duna Corradini S.p.A., the parent company, has been also one of the premier polyurethane producers in Europe and was established in 1957. As a consequence of this unique and long experience, all of our production equipment is totally projected and developed based on the Corradini technology. At this moment Duna USA Inc. manufactures rigid PU/PIR bun stock in continuous production specifically designed for the American market providing greatly improved performance characteristics. Additionally in January 2009 we started the production of liquid systems for various applications mainly in the cold insulation industry. Under this contest we completed our global offer placing local production units (Pegasus machines) in the Middle and Far East thus becoming the first and unique worldwide supplier for rigid PU/PIR foam for our globalized customers and engineering companies. After 7 years of this exciting American experience, the Duna Group is committed to progress Duna USA Inc. into a powerfully strong company able to meet not only the current specific needs of the PU/PIR market but to accommodate future development as well. The Duna Group in this way can combine the long European experience and approach to factory management with great technology and business orientation in the typical “American style” resulting in an exciting experience of industrial life, strong exchange of technology and great possibilities of success.
